Follow the
instructions included in the documents you downloaded. Then, mail the Worksheet
and
all the signed documents along with your check
or money order for $325.00 to the address below. You can also call our
office and we can take your payment over the phone using a VISA or
MASTERCARD card.
Mail your documents to: STEP THREE:
As soon as we get your Worksheet, verification and fee, an attorney will
call you to confirm all the information you mailed us and answer any questions you may
have. You should be prepared for this consultation by
having all your questions written down. STEP FOUR:
The divorce will then be filed. Your spouse will receive a copy of the
Divorce Complaint and Plaintiff's Affidavit by certified mail.
Your
spouse must pick up
and sign for his or her registered mail for the divorce
process to continue.** You will receive your copy of the these documents
after they are filed. STEP FIVE:
By law, we have to wait 20 days from the date your spouse received the
complaint before we can then send him or her a Counter-Affidavit and a Notice of
Intend. These documents will be mail to them. STEP SIX:
If your spouse does not respond to the documents sent after 20 additional days from
the time they get the Counter-Affidavit and Notice of Intend,
we will then finalize the divorce and you will get a certified copy
of the Divorce Decree once it is issued by the court.
** Additional fees would only
apply if there is a problem with serving your spouse with the
complaint, or if your spouse fights the divorce in any way. |
